This policy explains what personal data B!Water collects, what it is used for, how long it is kept and what rights you have.
Last updated in August 2026
The data controller is B!Water. You can reach us at geral@bwater.pt.
Through the contact form and the distribution point form we collect your name, email, phone number, company or organisation, request category and the message you write. If you send the request from the label simulator, we also keep the image of the artwork you created. We do not collect sensitive data or data about minors.
We use the data only to answer your request, prepare campaign proposals, organise distribution and manage any business relationship that follows. We do not sell your data and we do not pass it on for third party advertising.
We process the data based on the request you send us and on our legitimate interest in replying and keeping a record of that communication. Where a contract exists, the basis becomes the performance of that contract and the related legal obligations.
Contact requests are kept for 24 months from the last contact. Documents linked to contracts and invoicing are kept for the legally required periods. Once those periods end, the data is deleted.
Besides the B!Water team, only the technical providers required to run the website process this data on our behalf, namely the hosting and database service, the email delivery service and Google reCAPTCHA, which protects the forms against automated use. We do not share your data with anyone else unless required by law.
This website uses a single first party cookie, which stores your chosen language so you do not have to select it again on each visit. We do not use advertising cookies or traffic analytics tools.
Data is stored on servers with restricted access and an encrypted connection between your browser and the site. We review our protection measures on an ongoing basis.
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, and you may object to processing. Simply write to geral@bwater.pt. We reply within 30 days at most. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados.
If the way the site works changes, we update this policy and show the new date at the top of the page. We recommend checking it whenever you send a request.
